Peter and his future self travel to the future, where Claire shoots future Peter dead. Present Peter escapes and visits Sylar to learn his ability. After enlisting Molly to gain Peter's whereabouts, Claire, Daphne and Knox go to Sylar's house to confront them. During the conflict, Knox kills Sylar's son, prompting Sylar to lose control of his ability and explode. Captured by Claire, Peter is confined in a lab, where Nathan cuts him loose in an attempt to reconcile with him, but Peter can't control his newly gained ability, using his telekinesis to cut his brother's head open. In the present, Tracy resigns from government and attempts to commit suicide, but Nathan saves her life. Mohinder's condition deteriorates, and he becomes aggressive. In level5, Hiro and Ando attempt to escape, only to be caught by the Haitian. Angela Petrelli scolds Hiro for losing the formula but tells him it's not too late to correct his fault. In the end, Ando and Hiro are seen digging in a grave yard, when they open the casket, Adam Monroe is revealed.
