Shopping at a grocery store with Rita, Dexter becomes suspicious of a stranger talking to Astor; he proceeds to check the guy's background and finds out that his name's Nathan Martin, a pedophile recently released from prison. Dexter

sneaks in Nathan's house, but doesn't kill him. Debra finds a new victim, who is killed the same way as the previous Jane Doe, and assumes Freebo is the killer. Miguel attempts to bond with Dexter, but Dexter is unsure whether he is sincere.
