In the flackback, Lex and Duncan find out that Oliver and his friends has stolen the answer to the midterm test. While Lex wants to take advantage of this opportunity to make friends with Oliver, Duncan objects, so Lex beats him up. Duncan is later hit by a car and presumably died.

Lex meets Oliver at the highschool reunion, where Alden(Oliver's friend) is killed by a falling statue. Before long, Geffery, anthother friend of Oliver, dies in a car explosion.

Lex and Lana narrowly escape from a falling chandelier, and Lana is hospitalized. When going into the matter, Clark discovers that Duncan is alive, and all this years he has been receiving treatment from Lionel; the most recent treatment gives him the ability of telepathy.

Oliver is Impaled on a wall by an arrow which Duncan's spirit controls, before he can be killed by another arrow, Clark arrives, and who didn't see that coming.
