Lex is pissed off about the fact that Clark's father is neck and neck with him in the election.Suddenly two cops enter his mansion and warn him that there is a bomb in the mansion.We soon find out that the cops are lying about the situation and their real purpose is to get the whereabouts of the spaceship.Lex quickly runs off into a storeroom to hide himself.
At the barn,Clark and Lana have had a fight.Later on, Lana pulls over when she hears police siren behind her.A police points a gun at her before kidnapping her.
At the mansion,Lex steps out of the storeroom in order to save Lana and he succeeds but not without being shot in the chest.
Clark and Chloe are in a effort to find Lana when they realize she is missing.They eventually suspect a officer named Flynn who might have something to do with it, then it is revealed that Flynn survived a alien attack when the meteor show hit Smallville.

At the hospital, Clark sees Lana and Lex embrace and quickly leaves.This episode ends with Clark and Chloe talking about being honest and telling Lana the truth.
