Martha is mugged, and is saved by a mysterious lady wearing a mask when she is about to be killed, but Jonathon's watch has been taken by the mugger. Clark enlists Chloe's help to track down the robber but to no avail. They then focus on the mysterious lady, thinking the she may be the only one who can identify the robber. After a few attempts to lure her to show up by faking a robbery,she does, and it turns out that she is a colleague of Chloe's at the Daily Planet, and her name is Andrea.The robber is found, Clark and Andrea goes to confront him.When she realize that Clark can't kill the robber, Andrea takes out a green Kryptonite which renders Clark immobile and kills the man with a knife after revealing that he is the man who killed her mother.In a skyscraper, Andrea is about to kill Lionel when Clark shows up and saves his life.The next day, Andrea is gone.At the loft, Clark find the watch which belongs to his dad is on his desk and it's Lana who bought it back from a pawn shop.Clark puts the watch on and comes in the house to find his mother watching a home video which shows Jonathon teaching a young Clark how to drive.They share a grieving moment.
